I made the section with fine enough threads that it could be used as either a CC, or an eyedropper.
Eyedropper with a blind cap. You fill the pen with an eyedropper by removing the section. Once the pen is full, replace the section. Then point the pen into the inkwell. You then unscrew the blind cap. This will release the vacuum. When a couple of drops exit the pen, tighten the blind cap back down, and pen is primed. I'm not sure if this is really an earth-shattering concept...but you can prime the pen without the nib creep that you would get from dipping the pen in the inkwell.

This pen is an eyedropper.
This is an eyedropper with a lucite ink window and blind cap.
